    Description:
I felt like writing a lighter poem, something cute, something that would make me smile. This is the end result.

    -------------------------------------------

There came upon a stubby stump
A frog so green, atop he did jump

    Wearing a ridiculous little crown
As if prince charming I had found

He ribbited and hopped in place
A saddened look he had on his face

Could he be a prince behind those warts of green?
Without a kiss, t'would be unforseen

Shall I try? Or walk away?
Seems such a tiny price to pay

A kiss for a prince, I believe it could be
I wonder if he'd even marry me?

Oh what the heck, I'll certainly try
Though if I get warts, alas I would cry

So to this frog, my lips did meet
A simple gesture, warm and sweet

A cloud of smoke puffed before my eyes
A prince here stood, a fairytale no lie!

As I spoke, to say hello
A ribbit from my lips did flow!

How could this be? How awful a fate!
Then the prince just waved....there went my date!

Interesting twist at the end, irony I suppose they call it. Was enjoyable although could use a little smoothing out.-Mugs-

I stumbled a little bit over the rhyme scheme in this piece, not because it wasn't in rhyme, but it almost felt as though there was a forced flow to it. That being said, I did enjoy this poem and liked the twist that was at the end. Other than the flow of the piece, I think the concepr is very well written. Good job overall.

this left me with one hell of a smirk- at first i was waiting for the twist and wondering if there was one, and then bam! it was right there- very cute! *md*

      LMFAO!

thats a cute little twist. i like the undertone of this too! you try to go for the prince, and in the process he lessens you...

    oh but you try!

what a nice little light poem with an interesting moral! nice

I liked the part about you frenching the frog. True story? Probably.

I liked the other parts, as well. But I wonder... If a prince ever kissed you after being a frog, would you be transformed, only to find out that you are naked?

Very nice, although the rhyme scheme did trip me up a bit. I thought it was very cute, but what a sad twist at the end...

It's nice to read something humorous rather than depressing, nice change of pace.

Keep up the great work, hope to read more soon.

Cute and funny...one thing I know is that frogprince curses that reverse onto you after kissing the frog just, well, STINK. But this poem was great, and I hope to see more of this from you...
