    dotsColor Growsdots

    Color grows
    as my sleepy eyes
    creak open
    like a rusty-hinged door.
    Each new day
    brings a new canvas
    qucikly and beautifully painted
    before my eyes.

This is marvelous....I like how the sleepy eyes creak open and that each day begins a new canvas. What a wonderful notion.

Very, very vivid, I like the line 'Creak open
Like a rusty-hinged door'... very fresh and colorful... as it should be. I feel it - good piece!

Oh, I like this. Although, I think maybe creak combined with rusty gives a cliché feel. Can you substitute something?

What a lovely poem and what a lovely picture.
They say that if you like pate, you should never meet the goose.
And of course if you like the poem, you should never meet the poet.
And, of course, you have overturned these truisms with one picture and one poem.
What a lovely goose and what a lovely poem!

I have read something like this before, about when you awake, its like a fresh new piece of canvas, waiting to be painted on. It gives wonderful images, Excellent work!
