Well, you had me, up untill the last two lines. They sort of messed up the flow and rhythm and just seem to be "thrown in". The poem concept is a good one. Being separated from someone you're close to is always hard and leaves a bittersweet emptiness inside. You conveyed that well with your words and thoughts. ~Sandra
Baby girl i feel ur pain . . . i'm so relating at the moment coz i left 4varsity a year ago and had to leave my best friend(more like a close sister back at home). It ain't nice at all and you have revealed that all in your poem. I really liked the question at the beginning of each stanza. interesting rhyme pattern you have going as well. try not seeing it as losing a friend to distance coz i can tell you that me and my friend still speak such alot and reunions and holidays are the bomb coz such alot happens when you are seperated from each other it just seems that these to little time to catch up.
