Description: I don't know what I felt while writing it. I just started it today in science and finished it during lunch. If you sort of look back at the first part talking about the men who die for our country, than the second talking about a little boy, and the third talking about "the one".... if you sort of think about it, it's like "In the name of the Father, the son, and the holy spirit. Amen." That's why I have the 'Amen' part at the end. If anyone got it. (No I'm no huge God person, I just wrote it that way.)
Above -------------------------------------------
The skies open up and the angels cry,
On a world where evil is everywhere.
Women cry at the men who die,
Babies no longer have a dad.
The soulless bodies lay in a blood-shed field,
Their last memory of their enemy's face before they're killed.
The roaring thunder of gunshots and bombs echo
All the way to the devils ears.
Their journey to the above begins.
The skies open up and the angels cry,
On a world where evil is everywhere.
A lonely boy sleeps each night
On a bench of his favorite park.
His father died for the country we live in
While his mother drinks and chastise her own problems on his skin.
He clenches the emaciated shell he's placed in
Before drifting off one last time to never awake again.
Their journey to the above begins.
The skies open up and the angels cry,
On a world where evil is everywhere.
The one comes down and tests those whos faith is no longer there.
The one is here to bring peace one person at a time.
You can do what you can, that's what the one wants.
Do what you can.
I like i said before at lunch the poem is awesome The skies open up and the angels cry, On a world where evil is everywhere. i love that line it is so blunt
