Fire cannot burn me.
Without it, I cannot live.
The touch sets me free.
What do I have to give?
I walk the Earth with one fear.
It follows me into my dreams.
Strangling me until I tear,
Burning me away it seems.
Truth be told, I cannot burn.
My body yields the flames.
But in my dreams, things turn.
And I cannot be tamed.
Will they consume me?
Those flames that I contain.
They are a wonderous key
To which I can die in vain.
Surely I can avoid this
With my heart and mind,
Promising me bliss,
But it's only a matter of time.
Follow me into the stream,
Down the waterfalls.
Weakness is the dream,
I can hear its powerful calls.
The ash is all around
But the fire has not begun.
This destiny I am bound.
Hear the horrid gun.
Fire cannot burn me.
With it, I am great.
The flame is no agony,
It is my life's gate. |
