Description:

Written for a very dear friend who helped me to finally see who I am.

The Truest Friend

You will never know,
In a million years,
the crying you've stopped,
all the soaked up tears.
You will never know,
what you mean to me,
because you're my friend,
and to you I plea.
You know my worst fears,
What my life has held,
And on a few nights,
Gone with me through hell.
I have never known,
what it's like to be,
friends with someone else,
other than just me.
So I'll tell you this,
A secret of mine.
You, my dear friend,
Are one of a kind.
You will never know,
Exactly my thought.
But the truth is that
I'd rather you not.
I'm just saying thanks,
For comforting me.
A very true friend,
And always to be.
