       I wrote this poem a while ago about a love I had and lost and wish I could have again....

    dotsThe Dream That Will Never Bedots

    If I saw you again,
    would you know my name?
    Would you realize that in my eyes
    you forever stay the same?
    You will always be my one true love;
    a mate to match my soul.
    Without you in my life,
    I'll remain unwhole.
    Take me in your arms
    and fly away from here.
    To a place without constriction,
    no anger,hate or fear.
    To a place where there is only love,
    just enough for me and you.
    And I will forever be yours
    but this time we'll see it through.
    There won;t be search for closure
    because of an unemotional goodbye.
    There will only be happiness,
    always, because of you and I.
    I won;t lie awake and wonder
    where your heart beats now.
    I will be your companion.
    I will show you how
    to see the world as is
    and accept people as they are;
    to overcome the distance;
    even when it seems too far.
    I can show you a world
    unlike one you've ever seen.
    Just take my hand, and trust my heart.
    Let's let this journey begin.

      All I can say is that I felt the longing for that other person. I love it. Beautiful work. Take care ~Anchiale~
