Description:

For this poem, it was made quick but from my heart. I am not looking for much on this one, just wanted to put it out there to see if someone could relate. Maybe someone can help?? lol

How Can I Tell?

So it's been so long
Since I've felt this way.
Butterflies in my tummy
I wanna scream heeyy!
My heart jumps a mile
When I see his face
I wanna smile so big
And run a 50 k race!
The way he looks at me
I've not seen before,
And when we walk somewhere together
He actually opens the door.
It's amazing how one person
Can make your world so great
I've been wondering for a while
If he could be my fate.
I wanna tell him how I feel
But I wanna make sure
That my feelings are for real.

How can I tell?

I really liked it! I love how you described how you felt. My favorite:

My heart jumps a mile
When I see his face
I wanna smile so big
And run a 50 k race!

I think it's a cute poem, and it's awesome how it's about two different things; how you feel, and the "How can I tell?" question.

Sorry, I can't answer your question. I guess you just...know?

Wow, sounds familiar to me... I like opening the door for someone special, and always do it! And 'And when we walk somewhere together', it's a magical time for me... almost the only time I can spend alone with her. But how can I tell she feels the same way? We're in the same situation here, only opposite genders! PM me to discuss further!

Nice piece. It conveyed very well the excitement you feel towards the object of your affection. It flowed well and it was fun to read. Keep it up.

This was a very clear poem.I did like it.But,I will come lat out and say I think it can use a bit more work. Some of the lines of expressing how you feel could be better. But,all in all, good job.

Mm, I like this. It reminded me of the first throes of a new love ...God it's been a long time since I felt that! I guess the only way to tell if it's real is time, and if the feeling can last thru out tough times. Good job.
