These are the lyrics to my songwriting exam. No one ever understands the "I didn't think that you were simple, just free.." So, here's a challenge. What does it mean? Can you guess correctly?

  Hmmm.. what I got from this was two people together who seemed to think that everything is going to be really bad.. That's just what I got from it, don't know if it's true or not though

  I didnt relly get this poem it seemed sortof odd to me, not trying to be mean i just ont understand it, idk maybe its just me

  Ok, meaning time. Muahaha. Ahem. The song is about an affair of some measure. The line "I didn't think you were simple, just free" means that the singer didn't think her lover is of a simple mind, that he's ignorant or anything, he's just completely free and that's why he's so happy.

The song: The first verse is describing the act of sex - Passionate, wild, desperate, natural almost.

And the Pre Chorus: This action between them is changing the feeling of pain into one of hope and happiness.

The Chorus: Is just explaining how the singer admires her lover because everyone wants him (and she has him ;) ) and then the line "I didn't think you were simple, just free." And it continues on to say about how they forget everything else whilst they're commiting themselves to one another, and finishes with the singer expressing she knows this relationship isn't simple, it's just free.

The Second Verse: is just expressing the fact that this relationship, or get together, is not correct, and that with each step further they take, they are pushing some boundary, and they're waiting for something to stop them, because they know they both can't stop themselves.

PreChorus: Basically just saying they want it to last.

The song is meant to be somewhat not so down to the point and clear. It's got a decent rock beat behind it aswell (Credit goes to Lukee). It's a chune none the less!
