    -------------------------------------------

    Flowers in the attic,
may only grow dust in time,
    be coated with age,
    and turn grey with grime.

    Flowers in the attic,
    Forgotten for so long,
    Amidst the endless clutter
    Where they don't belong.

    Flowers in the attic,
    Are forever locked away,
    With the fading memories,
    Also turning grey.

    Flowers in the attic,
    Hidden from my view,
    I'm locking up the visions,
Of when I still held you.

    Flowers in the attic,
    Perhaps will never die,
    Even though you're packed away
    My heart will always cry.

This was a really great poem, I loved the images I got of real flowers locked away and forgotten by someone... Anyways, this is one of the better things I've read on this site

Awww.You got me .I am a sucker when it comes to love poems or sad poems. The parts that Iliked about the poem is :

    Flowers in the attic,
    Forgotten for so long,
    Amidst the endless clutter
    Where they don't belong

I liked this stanza because we only tend to remember the beauty and the meaning of the flower when it is fresh and flawless and when it starts to wilt or die we throw it away or put it in a scrapbook so when we get old and crustywe can look back on the flower. But when you said:

    Flowers in the attic,
    Perhaps will never die,
    Even though you're packed away
My heart will always cry. ,

Now I understand the meaning of your flower. It(a person) was once fresh and flawless and was full of life .But when it died it was left in the dreadful and cold attic. Its that attic that collects dust and stores either junk or painfull memories of a loved one.I thought this poem was really sweet. But if my whole view on it is wrong then just tell me.

this poem reminds me of a book by V.C. Andrews titled "Flowers in the Attic", its a good book. I've read the entire series and it makes me cry. This is a good poem and i like it. Good work.
