In a moment of sunshine
and in an instance of faith,
oh, I found a forgotten dream,
that was lost in a darker place.
For once, upon sombre times,
when all hope no longer thrived,
I let go of a part of me,
not all of my dreams survived.
Then one summer afternoon,
a seraph came bearing light,
from where hopes, dreams and love may grow
with a spirit that burnt bright.
His silence spoke all his words,
of a sky without an end
with no doubt and a tinge of hope
in glance, my dream was mend'.
Now, I keep my dreams in reach,
in my fears we will soon part.
But if again my dreams may fade,
then I shall catch it with my heart. |
