Did I disguise my unhappiness well?

Make the font bigger!! Double Spacing Back to recent posts.

What a morbid group we are,
watching and waiting for anyone to fall,
    eagerly awaiting a chance
to kick someone as they crawl.

What a sadistic bunch of inhabitants,
    reveling in another's pain,
    justifying our evil actions, and
    pretending that we aren't vain.

What a large assembly of repulsive people,
living a facade and glorifying their lies,
deliberately pulling others down to their level
with the intention of seeing themselves rise.

Look around, it's impossible to miss,
    A perfect portrait of insanity,
It's been happening, and always will,
And this is what we call humanity.

Hey do you know my ex and his wife? LOL Merry meet Insipid. While I was reading I had to keep stopping and rereading cuz I thought you were talkin about Pat and Haley. Oh well. I'm unsure if I like the piece cuz it hits so close to home and what went on this past week. If I go strictly on the writing it is a job well done. Unfortunately, as I said it hits way too close to home right now. Blessed Be Andrea. P.S. I'll look at it again when some time has passed ok?

Beautiful poem , and the ending stanza made me smile at its beauty :). However, as you said different groups I would expect you to change the way they acted, atleast the point of view. That way when you said

"Look around, it's impossible to miss,
    A perfect portrait of insanity,
It's been happening, and always will,
And this is what we call humanity."

It would seem life was more chaotic than you portrayed it to be here. I give it 4/5

      Hey, this is SUPER!
I couldn't have put it better myself, the thoughts in this make me totally sick of (most) of mankind.
Why is it that our greatest humour kings live on the misfortunes of others?
Don't forget the law of Karma.
Excellent write, nothing to criticize at all...

I liked this a lot. I have to say that I definitely agree! It sickens, and saddens, me to see where are world has gone. With all of the technological, medical, and scientific advancement, it seems that the price we pay for it is demoralization and dissensitization ( i don't know if those are words, but w/e). Again, i really liked this!

amazing, truly. though the subject matter was obvious from the start (I don't kno if you wanted to be witty) but once again it's really nice.

Wow, you are very talented with your words, and you have so much insiht into this world. I share your feelings to some degree. Something I have been playing around with in the back of my mind lately is this idea, I am a christian and I spend much of my time trying to better the word and help those around me in any way I can, what would I do if the world wasn't a mess, if things were as they should have been what purpose would this life of mine be? I hope you can see the relation to your poem, it made me think of that thought, I loved this pice, that makes 2 for two as far as favorite additons from you, nicely done.

    Take care,
