today i stand and look around
today i lean and touch the ground.
to thank the lord for all i have,
to look around and see what i gave,
growing up is quite a complex process,
you listen ,
you learn ,
you watch,
you talk ,
you walk,
you feel,
you deal,
and above all you heal..
you heal your wounds from the days that past
and think of your future and the days to come.
did you love enough ?
do you give enough ?
do you try hard enough ?
but what is enough ?
enough is to know you really tried your best
and left no chance for moment of regret.
enough is to feel you ran as fast as you can
even if you ended up being last.
enough is to help yourself through a crisis
even if you didn't get completely out of it.
lay back and look at the sky
and watch clouds slowly pass by..
close your eyes and relax
see your life
see yourself
judge your time
and judge yourself
dream and reach for the dream
and go so far
you might even discover it ain't that far.
climb the steps
one by one
and if you fall
climb back again.
run through life
and race the time
race yourself
to reach the line
the finish line
the end of the line
the line of your life
