    -------------------------------------------

    All hope is lost
    It must be reborn!
    We are the nation
    Standing at the iron hill
The power of man and machine
The victory of steel and flame
    Triumph is our middle name
    Sorrow lies ahead us
And the hope in our past
    The words of our leader
Full of pain, full of pride
    We will survive and bring
    Hope for us all
    Nightfall quietly creeps
    And changes us all
    The lantern of hope
    The cobblestones of all
We hail thee - we are
    House Of Black Star

Is this a poem on hope or of the technological age? It seems to be an amalgamation of both - hope through technological advances perhaps?

I have no idea what the house of black star represents to you, perhaps you could enlighten me?

To me, it seems like some ideal of lost hope, please correct me if I am wrong, but then poetry is subjective in itself, isn't it?

Not bad for lyrics, it was an interesting read, thank you.

Just spotted two obvious typos -
Sorrow lies ahead us (OF US)
    Nightfall quietly crepts (CREEPS)

That is how it's supposed to be, right?
