    dotsThe Tangled Web called Earth.dots
    -------------------------------------------

As the world moves on in its tangled web,
I just lie there screaming about the pain,
No one was there in my crazy life,
Then you appeared right on my finger tips,
A small little light just growing with every smile I give it,
Running away scared of the truth,
Chasing myself deeper into the chaos with you at my side,
I hold you tighter as to protect you from forces unknown,
Time is of the essence and your saftey above mine,
With every step comes more resistance,
You have grown to hold my hand the whole way running right by my side,
Never once did you let go but only hold tighter,
Hope wasn't anything known in my heart,
Giving hope felt better than receiving it,
At least I had someone to guide me through the trembling jungle of my inner self,
Not once did you let go from my grip,
A light awaited us at the tunnels of my eyes,
"Go." you say and my trust for you guides me to the end,
Into the light I follow it and find you there on the other side,
The craziness of being down to Earth was consuming me,
I cried for you and you pulled my out of the quick sand,
Tighter you hugged me and never let go,
Nothing could break up the precious moment but a new adventure,
Along side of you all hope restored to me and fear was banished from my soul,
We were heading out for the next expedition awaiting us, together.

The main character(mc) in this poem, perhaps you, seems to be a person who is both needy and who also needs to be needed by someone else. Often these sorts of people drain from others rather than giving. But something interesting happens for me as this poem continues. Not only do I see the friend continuing to give and give fiercely, but I also see that the mc is able to accept and absorb this love. This shows not only the capacity but also the ability to love back the same. Often people who have such fierce emotions tend to get enmeshed and not to do well in relationships. The world might call this co-dependency. But I do believe that intense people can succeed and I am awaiting such a relationship myself. Excellent work. I hope your two lovers go on another adventure soon and that I can come along!

A friend with a hand to lend is a true blessing. Your words show that very well.
Hope does seem to grow exponentially when shared.
    Well done.
    Thanks for sharing this write.

Wow...deep...I think I had to read it a couple of times before I actually got it. But, anyway on to the feedback!

My favorite part is probably, "Giving hope felt better than receiving it" I remember when my parents got devorced and all that kept me together was my sister and how I had to be strong for her. I think that you really captured the emotion in this poem. Koodoes to you.

    ever fathful;

I think it's inspiring that you can honor the person who helped you see life and experience love in a whole new way.
I think it says a lot about your situation, your finding a true friend/love and how it has been a period of growth and realization.
    Great job!

This was a very good poem. Very deep. I love your metaphore here and how you worded everything. My only complaint would be that it was hard to read and I had to go over twice. But other than that, great job.

Wow, that's intense, and your writing is amiable! The concept was very sweet and pleasant. I hope the person that held your hand through it all, will always be by your side, Wonderful poem!

      Powerful write
Even more so on the title
Exceptional views here, I sort of feel the same way.
Let me be bland by saying
    -Great wording
    -Good rhythm and flow
Maybe a little longer than I would usually read
    But it is detailed well
    Good Job
