Description: in the short time i've known him, it feels like we've always been friends. the sound of his voice makes me smile and my day a little brighter. i love him so much, he's one of my good friends that can never be replaced, i just hope he always knows that.

As I think of when we first met
Our lives just hanging by the moment
Those conversations I can’t forget….
I smile with those thoughts of you
A new found friendship to go pursue
Our worlds were beyond comparing
But so many late nights I struggled
To stay awake for time worth sharing
I couldn’t stop myself from the fall
Especially after that telephone call
Your voice so soft and heart so true
The words you spoke warmed me
It was that moment that I knew…
A friendship building up so strong
A place I finally feel I belong
I do love him, I can’t disagree
It’s grown too strong to ignore
It’ll always be there, I guarantee
A friendship love to tough to break
A wonderful feeling I proudly give and take
It s been a long time since i read poetry, at least on this site. Especially the ones you write, haha..
My fav thing about this poem is that you rhymed it through without forcing it at all, as if you were truly saying what you wanted without thinking of the rhyming, but it did anyways..
Know that I feel the same way, about our friendship and all. And it s almost as if we already had a story to tell.. about us. In the future, somewhat near future even we ll become even greater, and real-er friends. Thanks for everything.. don t give up on me on my stupid times.. or anything. Thanks!
This is a very well written poem, your words portray just what you mean or at least as far as i can tell by your description...something else that i think makes this write so enjoyable is that i can relate to it...sorry i don't have any helpful suggestions, but i really don't see anything that needs fixing in this work...keep up the good work, hope you keep your friend and that he knows you love him...
This is a very special poem! I can relate to these words so well. I know how it feels to really love a dear friend. If you get a chance maybe read "Friends First".
