    dotsSo Forget Usdots
    -------------------------------------------

    So forget us
As lives dwindle and fade, as ghosts of stars in the sky
While we look for a master, someone to guide
    To love and trust

While I rage against the world and lose
And lose myself in the chaos and battle
As my life begins to whirl, when I begin to ask why
Im thrown far off the saddle
    Dont remember me

Forget I am here, crying and screaming
    Empty, scared, lost inside
Forget that were dying, killing, and being
What you never wanted us to become
Instead of holding rosaries, weve gripped hard the gun

And as blood floods streets and flows as rivers
As the world starves, and death shivers
And to be saved, we must all pray for you to deliver
    Deliver us, the forgotten

Damn you, you who shut your ears to us
When I begged and wept, who was it to?
    Obviously not you
Where the hell were you when I needed my savior?
Someone kinder and stronger, purer and braver
To tell me Im loved because I am

O humanity, call out to the world
Save us, save us, or we shall be doomed
Weeping by rivers full of tears that we know
Longing for somewhere that we dont know is home

Never again shall I sing for you, O God
My lips shall be sealed, no praises shall pour out
O Divine, where were you to help and to guide?
We starved for your guidance, your love was our drought

And Jesus! O Jesus; some statue in church
So that shows to me what my faith is worth?
A man in pain hanging on a cross
This is my sacrifice; this is my loss

To know the truth, my idol is false
To lose the foundation for all I have known
And to be laid out naked before mine eyes
That once looked up for redemption in life

ok. one question are you catholic? Because the catholic church is the only one i know of to worship the statues. did you every think that maybe if you prayed it shouldn't be in front of the statue of Jesus? I liked the poem until you got to the "O GOD" part, because it may seem that you are praying and nothing is being done but your prayers will be answered one way or the other. you should never lose faith.

Well this was sure intresting. I thought this would be something that would praise him not destroy his image. But I really don't care since I don't believe in him and I am supposed to be a cathlic. I see your reasons for losing hope. Very well written.

Well, I enjoyed, this is pretty good.
I don't mind the occasional dig at "God" I mean, considering how all-loving etc etc. he lets some seriously bad sh*t happen...
I liked your denunciation, and could agree with most of it.
Well done, and good on you
