She believes his words
Even though she knows it’s wrong
He wrapped her around his finger
Well he used his other hand
to play with the others
Her eyes study his movements
As he flirts and mingles
She wonder what he’s thinking
Wither or not he knows it hurts
He smiles at her, well he flirts once more
Making it only worst
This secret relationship isn’t working
It makes her want to scream
Want to just tell them to back off
Yet she’s stuck in a world where nothing is true
Her friends begin to notice
And slowly begin to ask one by one
They all know she lies
Yet they go along
She can’t vent
Or even rant
For no one is suppose to know
This locked up heart could remove itself
Yet she doesn’t want to leave
She wants his love and comfort
Even if it is just in secret
She asks herself questions
As her mind runs back and fourth
Like a puppy being taunted with meat
Moving from one side of the room to the other
Only to end up empty handed
With no answers at all
She looks over at him once more and studied him again
She knows she shouldn’t be thinking wrongly
For it’s just innocent flirting
Nothing more, nothing less…right?
Yet she still wants to yell at him
Instead she gives him a light smile
And just looks on the ground
That’s where her feelings would stay
Within the ground,
buried under everything
Kept away from everyone
Just like the two of them
