    Description:
i wrote this one night when i got home from my boyfriend's house...we had been laying in his room with the black light on and we just stared at each other for hours. oh, and just to clarify, my tattoo really does glow in a black light.

    -------------------------------------------

    The heart on my ankle
    glows under the blacklight
    The ink is softly radiant
    We both stare at it
    in the dimly lit room

But I think I know the truth
    The heart in your chest
    is glowing with more radiance
    than this blacklight can uncover
The light it creates shoots out
through your soft and twinkling eyes
and it cuts through to my soul

    As I gaze at you
I am opened up to everything
    held inside of you
    The glowing of your heart
and the light in your eyes
reveals all of your secrets to me

I will tuck them away safely
    and cherish them sweetly
and wait patiently for the day
that I can show you more
    than just my glowing tattoo

      Hey, I like this lots.
The reference to the different "lights" is really good, and it has a pure, innocent feel to it.
I wasn't bothered by the lack of periods, it flowed pretty well for me.

It's nice to read a teenage love poem that looks happily to the future, instead of cursing the past.

    Excellent work.

    Be Happy

It's a real good poem i can actually maybe guess how it makes you feel. and the way you word it makes seem like a rare stone that's meant to protected and cherished for all time not just discarded like yesterdays mail.
    thanx for an awsome read.

Be kind, take a few minutes to review the hard work of others <3
It means a lot to them, as it does to you.
