    dotsA Knight's tale (a fragment)dots
    -------------------------------------------

Once upon a time, actually it was more like twice, thrice, or even more "upon a times;" a down-on-his-luck knight walked into the castle and said he had finally located his magic weapon. All great heroes had magic weapons and he had been questing for his since the day he had ascended to knighthood. Unfortunately, most of the weapons he brought back, while extremely well wroght, were not magical; if they were magical, they belonged to other individuals.

How the knight accquired these weapons is unkonwn; however, one has never seen fury until one has looked into the eyes of a thunder god who has come to reclaim his magical hammer.

This is like a splash of Hercules from clash of the titans, to Prince charming in Cinderella. Even a bit of 'Knights of the round table' thrown in! It's got the fairytale feel, but with a magic splash. Nice. I've always been a sucker for both venues. Keep up the good work :)

    *hugs a plenty*

Sounds like a promising start! Quite quirky. Is this going to lead into an adventure with Thor coming to reclaim the hammer, or do we hear more about the magical weapon mentioned at the beginning... or are the two weapons actually one and the same? You've got me intrigued! A good opening too - do the numerous 'upon a times' reflect the knight's numerous failed quests?
