    dotsCome Home Soondots

    Under this skin,
    A shattered heart,
    That's only whole,
when you're here by my side.
I love, I wait, I pray for your return
So please my baby, come home soon.

    I pretend to be strong.
    I put on this face.
But in my eyes reveal the lie,
That I'm weak, I'm broken, I'm falling apart.
So please my baby, come home soon.

    I know you will come,
    As soon as you can.
    But seconds are hours,
    My tears never end...
Need your body next to mine,
A moment that is ours forever in time.
Don't linger, don't wait, just return to our love.
My life, my strength is all that you are
So please my baby, come home soon.

Talk about DEEP. This is great. The flow did not compliment the depht and sweetness of this poem. This has the makings for a Hallmark card! Great Job.
