Description:

If only I knew the rules to the game "time" plays, I can only guess I will know when the time is right.

On the Edge of .....

Forever in my heart,
Forever my girl,
Time is taunting us with our desires
But we have already played the part
of foolish children
and each has lived a lifetime since.

Planets dance in circles, I am told.
Destined to come back to where they once were,
that familiar place in the sky.
Once blurred by nature and wine,
No longer blinded by yesterdays regret,
I can see tomorrow,
“I can finally see tomorrow.”

Alas time is cruel,
He has but one more hand to play,
Your heart still heals
And there are places I must go.
As the pieces scatter
and fall where they fit.
still the planets trip the light…

“There I will be,”
Waiting for them
to come round again,
neither the beginning nor at the end,
forever dancing on the edge
of a full circle.

This is a great piece. It made me feel like i was doing what i was told then i questiond it and felt good with the decisions i make in the end, how we will always be dancing there on the edge as you put it. The whole things was very well written but my favorite part was
"Planets dance in circles, I am told.
Destined to come back to where they once were,
that familiar place in the sky.
Once blurred by nature and wine,
No longer blinded by yesterdays regret,
I can see tomorrow,
“I can finally see tomorrow.” "

i really like that. There is only one thing i have a little, tiff whith, you have commas in spots that kind of made 'me' studder,

"As the pieces scatter,
and fall into the places they fit. "

"of foolish children,
and each has lived a lifetime since."

and then there is...."“I can finally see tomorrow.” " is that you talking?

Where to begin... one should not ask for things that they truely do not want to see. We have lived a lifetime since, that is true, but life is very circular and perhaps we will be those "foolish children" again some day. You are indead off to bigger and better things in life, but i am sincerely pleased to have met at this end of the spectrum before we'd gotten too old. Time is cruel. Michelle
