    Description:
Written for a dear friend who's having some tough times and I just want him to remember how much he offers as a great person and father, a musician, a poet, a nature lover, etc.

Society can place no value on these things and they are possessions that are part of you that can never be taken away. I lift him up in my heart and wish him a better day!

    Love,Peace,Joy!!! epiphany ; - }

    -------------------------------------------

    Some choose a happiness
    tinted green
    Awash in a sea
    of luxury~~~
    Yet, hidden, still,
    Surrounded
    yet hauntingly alone

    How poor are we
    who cannot see the
    riches free;
    land, air, sky, sea ~~~

    Freedom no cost
    but vision

    The mind will
    always fail us
    but the heart
    and soul
    remain in Truth

    Set up you heart
    and shine your light
    upon thee

    Be strong in your
    adversity,
    yet again,
    to see Love's gifted
    reward

    For your pennies
    fall from Heaven
    in the light

    You are showered
    in "ITs" goodness
    always

    For what is gifted
    cannot be bought

    No matter if you
    are mother, father,
    pauper, king

    You are the castle
    of Great Spirit

    You are the wind
    and the breeze

    Fret not, nor fear
    the great divide

    See all which you
    offer not what
    you provide

This is just beautifully written and expressed! It is easy to become consumed with sadness. It can just surround your and suck you in if you're not careful. It is so easy to focus on hurt and hard times and overlook the good things at the blink of an eye. Your friend surely will appreciate such a lovely write! Great read! Take care.

Hi Tiff, this was just what i wanted and needed to read right now. I am always amazed at how your writes lift me up and make me remember, what we offering is all of it.

But more than that, you make me remember that I would not have life without gifts to share, thanks for the inspiration. And the knowledge that what we share is precious. We are the reason the Divine exists and knowing this lifts me up into my wildest dreams.
    love and blessings,
    Nan

Tiff absoulutely soul stirring poetry..."For what is gifted
cannot be bought"...although this was written for one person in particular many that read it will draw comfort and self appreciation from this poem. I did ...after reading a feeling of tranquility enveloped me ..."Be strong in your
    adversity,
    yet again,
    to see Love's gifted
    reward

    For your pennies
    fall from Heaven
    in the light"
Thanks for a most excellent read Tiff.

this is beautiful Tiffany.. there are so many riches for us in this world and they are mostly intangible... money cannot buy happiness and never will. i saw a bumper sticker the other day that said MONEY TALKS, mine always says goodbye... how appropos, eh?
i always enjoy your look at life, always positive and looking at the bright side. you are a beautiful beacon in a world often blighted with hate and violence.
    thanks for being you,
    @ Cat

It sounds like a def jam sort of poem
    Good work
It too gave me a sense of self being
Though I have enough of that already =P
good imagery for the most part
    It wasnt very descriptive
But with these types of poems you generally want to stay away from that stuff
I get the message loud and clear
    Powerful poem
Good Job , and I love ren and stimpy to death!

      Tiff, this is just lovely.
Very uplifting and inspirational, I'm sure it will bring a smile to a sad friend.

Isn't it amazing that we need to be constantly reminded of our own worth. How do we forget so easily?

    Beautifully done.

    Be Happy

This is a very motivating piece .My fav lines are

    For what is gifted
    cannot be bought...

    See all which you
    offer not what
    you provide...

Im sure the other lines inspire others more , but these lines inspire me .One needs to treasure what one has been given and be willing to offer people some of that treasure.
