I've spent alot of my life doubting myself and my beliefs. I've learned not to do that. I read so many great poems on here. But in the description the writer is all "i know its crap."

Never doubt yourself. Then you'll find that there is greatness within in you, you just have got to pull it out.

Greatness Is Within dots

The worst thing you could ever do is doubt yourself.

You're feeling scared, and your lonely.

Wishing someone would be holding.

You in their arms, but you look around and noone is there.

Don't tear your heart open, I promise you can bear.

Look deeply in, there you'll find your friend,

and you'll know then, that greatness comes
from within.

  This was very good. A very true and positive message. I think that you did some self searching and it paid off. The way you wrote this comes off as if you are talking to a dear friend.   Ooooh I really needed to read something this motivational...This is such a simple, but fervently powerful...I loved the boldness and the rawness of this piece...INDEED WE NEED TO LOOK WITHIN OURSELVES TO FIND THAT HERO...FOR WHEN ITS ROUGH AND OTHERS ARE GOING THROUGH THEIR OWN CALAMATIES...WE ONLY HAVE OURSELVES TO ASK FOR GUIDANCE...Nevertheless, I believe that...its a divine being who actually resides in our hearts and directs our paths...I was kind of down today, but thank you to this beautiful work of inspiration, I am drawing within to find SOLACE...I am deeply touched...not to mention..how empowered I feel due to this INCREDIBLE WRITE...Thank you for SHARING...I am HAPPY...Be happy!Nobantu

  i agree... some people are like "this sucks..." but it's actually really good. what's wrong with admitting that you can write?

on the poem... there are some errors like "your lonely" it should be you're. but nevertheless this was very insightful.

  i see where ur coming from. a lot of the poets on here will put out great stuff and then tell u 2 bash it. and i think quite a few of the kids on here were suicidal at a time. but i guess they just learned 2 cope and found that greatness within. good write
