    Oh, how ashamed I am.
Why must I feel this way.
    Iíve given up on everything,
Iíve lost the will to pray.

    Feeling so lost,
    With no way to return.
    Iím going to Hell.
    Iím going to burnÖ

I left out of the Church,
    Havenít entered since.
    Open the ground for me,
    Iím coming Dark Prince.

    Save a spot for me.
    My own eternal cage.
    Iíll fill it with hate.
    Release all my rage.

    Iíll take my last breath,
    Give you my soul.
    Then lie in my bed,
    Of hot burning coal..

I'm not a big believer of hell for my own reasons. You did a great job although I must ask if this line "I left out of the Church" is suppose to be written this way. As I read your piece I kept returning to this line. Did you mean "Since I was left out of the church"? Or since "I left their church". The wording in this line just seems a little confusing. Otherwise I liked it.

It seems this poem was borne out of a morbid desire to burn in hell, arising out of both a lack of faith and a loss of hope. I went through a phase where I wrote stuff like this as well. I can't exactly call this a good poem.

That wasn't gloomy AT ALL. Sheesh, why did you write this? Whatever. If darkness is what you want, have it. If darkness is what you want to write about, write it. Because as far as I can see-you're pretty good at that.
