    dotsSeaside Memoriesdots

    A lifeless little girl,
    Laying on a rock
    Wondering how she got there
    Her muscles start to lock.

    No breeze in her hair,
    No sun on her face,
    All feeling is gone,
And her heart starts to race.

    She remembers his name
As she starts to drift away
How she screamed when he touched her
Now with her life she must pay.

    "Don't daddy don't"
    She yelled that so loud
    But as she remembers
    Her eyes start to cloud.

    "I'm going to heaven
    Tell mom I said bye"
And as God lifts her up
A tear falls from her eye.

It was a good poem, very sad and emotional and powerful, it's a very real topic to write about. It's almost as if I can see the little girl, lying there and I can feel her pain. Good work.
