They’re everywhere,

They are important.
They may save your life,
Or help you create it.
They can show you the light at the end of a long dark passageway ,
Or guide you in your life.

And in doing so create one good memory.
They can even help you decide what you want out of your life,
Or they can show you there is nothing better than happiness and love.
The things these people do are remarkable beyond all measure,
They guide the young and the old,
The strong and the frail,
The loved and unloved.
This is to all those who never step down without a fight,
To those who help with out a cause,
And to all those who are someone’s hero.
They Guide, Shelter, and Protect you.
They are your parents, your teachers, your lovers and your friends.
They are your police officers, your social workers,
