The Angel of Death

Death lingers
Wherever his shadow falls,
There is no escape from him
When you are trapped in his notorious walls.

There is at least one death,
Each time he is around,
Some believe, some do not
Because he is never found.

No one ever
Has escaped his clutches,
For he has the power
To reduce people to ashes.

He is the Angel of Death,
The one appointed for taking lives,
His name is Azrael,
True character, not lies.

death is waiting at every corner every step. so be prepared.

Satan inquires of me: What do you eat? What is your dress? And where do you reside? I answer him: My food is death, my dress is the shroud and my residence is the grave. _Hatim Asim

I liked this...there was a lot of imagry and it was errie and a bit haunting. This one was also good in the sense that it was extremely thought envoking and yet so vauge as to leave room for the reader to becuz I'm wierd I'm left wondering what exactly inspired you to write this one because I think you put more feeling into it than first glance would any case this was an amazing write.

Interesting...the whole eerie image this poetry gives is great, makes it mysterious, also make the reader wonder about death and what happens after death, this poem pushes the reader to question and explore new aspects, which is a wonderful thing to achieve, this is excellent, keep writing

It was pretty good, but too short. I liked it, its just that you could've put a little more of a description. But over all I enjoyed it.
