We are over seas fighting this war because we are trying to 1. .Look for weapons of mass destruction and 2.. Have a hold on terrorism. Sure, theres more to the story.. But geeze.. Im tired of people f'n complaining all the time.. It was the soldiers choice to go over there, there isnt anything you can do.. This war means something!!!! PLEASE COMMENT!!

How can people get mad at our president,
Because a loved one Chose to fight.
We could have all been blown up by now,
He's the one who looked after us so we would survive.
People have forgotten what this was was about.
You have something to say?
That's fine, sit there.. And complain.
You should be loving life because we are all alive.
Because those guys over seas are protecting us.
But dont listen to the facts,
Sit there... Complain.
Don't that our soldiers,
Who are keeping us alive.
Sit on your lazy asses,
Not doing shit.
Quit being dogmatic and idiotic.

This war is not holy, your right!!
But we are still here...
Shouldn't that mean something?

  Bush LIED... Im sorry I just had to let you know that cuz you seemed a little oblivious. But anywayz... I dont understand how oyu can say that we sit on our lazzy asses complaining and not doing anything but your the one who took the time to write a poem ( in which you were complaining about us complaining in) when you could have been "loving life". BUt anywayz I give you props anywayz for having the balls to state your opinion unlike other punkass people who are scared to even metion the word politics. So Kudos! ::: sigh::: republicans. lol.

  I really like your views. I have never understood why people are all for war untill people start dying. This same thing happend with viet nam. People die in war. It is inevitable and it has to be done. People die anyways and i think it would be better to chose how and do it for a cause rather than it just coming randomly. I myself have been considering going to Iraq and i would be ok with dying because my death would mean something. I would be doing something good and that is the out look people need to have about this war, it is for something good. We are fighting bad people. So anyways i really apreciate your views about the war!

  I'm sorry, but have you even read a newspaper or watched the news in the last year? There are no WMD. That's been known for months-Bush LIED. There's also no previous link to Al Qaeda (I mean before the war, not now that they've come in-which never happened under Saddam). So your opinions are ill-informed. I suggest you find out something about a subject beofre you post a rant on it.

  Unlike Joeyalphabet, I understand your views. They never found weapons of mass destruction but there is proof that they have them. How about the bodies they found--women burried with children in their arms? The Bible predicts that there will be wars and rumors of wars...why is everyone so upset? What if the Republicans from the North would have never came down to the South to fight the Democrats in the Civil War? I'd probably be enslaved right now on someone's plantation.

People complain about Bush this and Bush that! I'd rather have him leading me than a confused, comprimising John Kerry. I rather have a leader in which I know where he stands. Those soldiers are not fighting for oil or revenge--they're fighting for democracy around the world. If I lived in their predicament wherein I had no say in the matters of government, I'd want this strong nation with all this military power to come over and help me as well.

Unfortunately, many people don't understand what this war is about. Many people don't understand that defying Hussein meant death. Many people don't understand that Iraq has and has had for a long time ties to Al Qaida. Unfortunately as well, many will never understand it becuase they can't get past their political differences to support this country's effort. If it were John Kerry leading this same war and was in this same situation, I think the critics would not exist....

  I will start by giving your props for speaking your mind and getting this out there. That is very brave of you to stand up for what you believe in even if it goes against the grain.

Now as to what I think...
Loved ones choose to join the army to protect their families,yes, but that is not what people are complaining about. People complain because they dont agree with the REASONS that their sons, husbands, daughters, friends are fighting. We all in this world have the right to feel SAFE. And these soldiers are off to protect that right, but in the meantime they are compromising that right for others. I am a Canadian citizen, but I do read the newspaper and keep up on my American history, and personally I think Bush is a little bit pompous and way out there. You say in there that people who complain are lazy, well, I think that is very close minded of you. Many people take a stand just like you with picketing and whatnot. It isnt lazy if they stand up for what they want. You are complaining here about their complaining. To each their own. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions. You are basically asking people to stifle their emotions cuz it annoys or pisses you off. If you can say things like this, I dont see the problem with people crying and asking for things to stop. People they love are off getting blown up. Everyday their lives are at risk, and they may be fighting for something they dont even believe in. They are only there because they want their familes and friends alive. For all you and I know, they could all HATE Bush. I think that what you call "complaining" I call Freedom of Speech/Expression. Let them cry, yell, scream, FEEL. If it annoys you to hear, dont look. Nice work for getting everyone all riled up tho.lol. Very controversial peice. I appreciate you writing this. yup yup.

  good write, and you have balls for writing this all down, but i do not agree with all that you have said. We all make mistakes and jump the gun, like Bush and Blair have done. We all have the right to defend oursleves and portect. But that still does not give us the right to kill. I live in England and as you know we have just been attacted by bombers on the transport systems. This does not worry me, and do you what to know why because some idoits are not going to distroy my life. They may effect it in some way but i am luckly enough to be alive.
It makes me sick sometimes to think that there are poeple out there who make it their bussiness to distroy some else's life. Why???
I do feel sorry for the ones who have lost their loved ones in this stupid war. And i wish that this all never happened. One day maybe we could all get along and not fight.

Anyway after that rant...you you can tell this poem has alot of effect on emotions and is very well written. Well done and i will be back to read more, pormise i will not go on to long next time.

It was a sad day when earlier administrations dealt with terrorism by simply bombing inocent countries, hugging and kissing Araphat. The terror would continue.

So the question for those who opposed the war. What is the correct responce for an assult on american soil?

Should we boycot big tabaco, attack the Sudan where there are inocent refuges or should we just sue walmat.

The point is when something this obvious happens with a known butcher like Sadam Husein.

Here are your weapons of mass destruction.

1. Mustard gass was used on the Iranians and the Iraquies durring the Iran Iraq war In 1985. Only fools belive that the gass was all used up on the civilans and that he should still be allowed to carry on since he has none.

(Keep in mind Hitler only used gas on the Jews. Never on Americans, who could reply with greater ammounts. So just becasue Hitler didn't use it doesn't mean he had none.)

2. in 1990 Sadam Hussein invaded Kuwait. While while continuuing genicide his people which were still semi fresh.

Bush senior was orginaly going to contain the advancement from the Souady border. When he read the Amnisty international report wide spread rape of women and children. On primetime news, his voice cracked. Next day his descion was to remove the invaders. - THis was surmised by was a book called the commanders by Bob Woodward.

much later the dem's said the amisty international reports were exagerated. The Kuwaities disagree.

3. The Serum gass shell that exploded last year.

4. Sadam Hussien - 1998 an affircan country was selling Enriched Urinium to Sadam and Kadaffie. Nigeria told the English.

Concernse were expressed about this but nothing was done about it.

Durring this time Polliticnaind enrighed themselves from France, Germany, Russia and UN Diplomats for kick backs.

Sadam has a 20K bounty to the famlies that killse themselves in a sucided attack against Americans.

The Genocide continues.

Rape was a peunitve sentace implementd by Sadam. If he didn't like you you'r wife suffers.

A tanker truck full of Seran Gas was discoverd in Jordan. Iraq Via Syria.

The chemical weaons plant was discoved in Iraq.

Nigerian report have been aknolwedged by physical evidence.

Final note:

More Americas die annualy as convinence store clerks. Protecting goods. percapita.

So is NY Tax cab drivers.

Where as The American soldier fights for every good and decent and is against every thing depraved and despeacble. We have to respect that and for anyone to spit on their courage is fighting words.
