To start off this poem's basically about two friends becoming allies. That's basically all I have.

    -------------------------------------------

    My friend,
Take keep on the ground with a powerful stride,
And let us walk away from the bad,
In through the tunnel of our deepest fears,
    We will find happiness,

    My friend come with me,
To travel beyond the world of reality,
To swim in the waters of our joyous tears,
To dance in the storms of our madness,
And to eat at table of cruelty,

    My dearest friend,
    Walk beside me,
    Not a foot away,
    But a foot closer,
    So the world may know,
    We are friends,

    My dearest friend,
Do try and get some rest,
For tomorrow lies only hours away,
And tomorrow is brighter then this cold night,

    Loving friend,
    Sit next to me,
So that I may offer you a sip of wine,
    And a slice of bread,
At the end of this table,
I shall propose a toast to our friendship.

i have a friend who has stood by me through thick and thin for the last 20 years.i love how you portray that whatever life throws at you you and your friend walk side by side through it all and you are there for each other.this is how i see my friendship.the best lines for me were My dearest friend,
    Walk beside me,
    Not a foot away,
    But a foot closer,
    So the world may know,
    We are friends,
hope you dont mind me adding this to my favourites.i will read some of your other poems as i really liked this one. graham

I think this is original as well. I love it. I do agree with stormy skies about the typo. Overall, the poem was really good. Very well written in my opinion. Hope to see more writes on here. Keep it up.

I do like this..it is original and i like the the way you portray the tougher side of friendship not just the joys etc...the only typo i picked up on was in this line:

And tomorrow is brighter then this cold night

it should be than rather than then :)
