I waited once in the dark ,just beyond the streetlight.
Instinct, I knew you’d be there.
I watched the light come on briefly in receiving.
Then darkness, and I new I was ruined.
My hands reached out for the metal.
It seemed they did it on there own .
The scent of burning leaves still evident in the ashtray .
The blade buries itself deep in my thigh .
    I feel nothing though .
    I million days go bye
    Your head lights blind me.
Your voice seems barreled alone at first then joined by many.
My head falls down and I can see the red seeping into your shirt .
I love that color …navy blue.
I got it for you last Christmas.

Be kind, take a few minutes to review the hard work of others <3
It means a lot to them, as it does to you.
