Uncle Scam is a phrase coined by Jello Biafra. I barrowed it.

Uncle Scam's In Command

"thou' shalt not kill," they say.
as they drop their bombs from miles away.
embracing the youth. "give us your life."
"so you can kill. so you can fight."
why the hell not we've got a schedule to keep.
for our pride and glory the people must bleed.
we'll mold them while there young.
stand in line. conform as one.
if you act on your own, you'll be all alone.
dancing like puppets out thoughts not our own.
they feed us their lies, they encourage war cries.
questions authority? why use your mind.
their system is fucked, and yet it's not enough.
to wise up to there scams, instead we play dumb.
bitch and complain and yet you remain.
hidden in the shadows waiting for change.
our government was created to keep the people at bay.
the establishment still operates in much the same way.
a flag that flies high. for this flag we must die.
march into battle and don't you dare ask us why.
if you won't give your life they'll throw you in jail.
to poor and to small you'll never make bail.
wars that mean nothing unlike the wars we've fought before.
now we're just bullying, the body count ignored.
how many times will we give into "fight".
how many more times must we abuse our mite.
instead of learning from the past we continue to serve.
a government that doesn't care, the people get burned.
a cycle unbroken. the weapons supplied.
the lies are concealed the scandals denied.
if we stopped selling guns. instead we sell peace.
stop abusing our wealth. the killing might cease.
instead we move on and enjoy our dull lives.
you don't care, and that's why we'll all die.
Uncle Scam in command, it's all in the plans.
free after death, but for now i will stand.
