The pain I'm in, the pain I've caused
So overwhelming, all of these flaws
I can't see the future, I can't forget the past
I can feel happy, but I can't make it last
    And I can't forgive myself

All that I've done, I know it's over and done
But it effects me still, from it I just want to run
Run into nothingness, run from the guilt
Run from this stress that I've built
But I can never forgive myself

I want to live long, I have things to accomplish
Will I accomplish it all? I hope...I wish
But the past is always there
Stalking me, haunting me, always in the air
And for it I can't forgive myself

It's not something one can forget
It's something that can get anyone upset
I know i must move on, It's what must be done
But I still have a fantasy to run
Because through and through all of this
The drama, the guilt, the remiss
    I can never forgive myself

I really liked this one. The flow of the poem was pretty good, but the flow of the first stanza was really awesome. I do notice something about you personally though, you're 14, you have a long time to forgive yourself for whatever you've done. you'll work through it eventually. keep writing, get the feelings out.

Quite often forgiving one's self is much harder than forgiving another. The most important thing in life is to learn from our mistakes and not make them again. If you have done this then you are better off for the experience even if you don't yet realize it. If you're having trouble forgiving yourself the best thing to do is ask them for forgiveness and try your best to make amends.Sometimes people won't allow us to do that in which case simply appologize and let them have their space. Most often they will watch your future actions and judge your sincerity by what they see.Show that you're of good character and they will eventually forgive you, but as for yourself; do what you can to reconcile and go on with your life. It's all you can do.This was a pretty good read and believe me I fully understand.Keep writing your feelings; it helps.

this is a good poem. i've definetly felt this way sometimes. i really like the lines "I can't see the future, I can't forget the past. I can feel happy, but I can't make it last." accept that the past has happened, and try and move on. good job writing.
