Haruko giggled as Holly Star left. She directed her attention over to where Mamimi had been gagging.
"Uh hey sis, do ya think Hollysan bought it."
Mamimi stopped what she was doing, "You mean this whole thing isn't real?" she asked.
"Oh I give up." Was Haruko's only responce as she threw her hands in the air.
With the sudden "return" of Holy Star, Tempest dismissed most of the bridge crew, except of course for the pilot. Drake was needed on the bridge.
"You all know your assignments," she said as she left the bridge herself.
Tempest returned to her cabin and gathered up a few things, mainly weapons. Whether Estaban liked it or not, they had a meeting with Mojo. He was the only one who had contacted her on this journey about a job. And they desparately need the work, if they were going to keep the ship afloat.
Tempest looked up to see someone standing in her doorway.
Tuesday had her orders and had gone to the medbay to take an inventory. As soon as she was done, she thought about the trip down to Earth. She had never been there, and really didn't know anything about it. She decided maybe she needed to find out if weapons were going to be needed or what. With that thought she headed towards the Captain's quarters.
She knocked and then saw the Captain turn to look at her.
"hey... um... got the inventory, but I ... well I've never been to Earth and really don't know what to expect. Will I need to take any weapons, or are they friendly?" she asked. She really felt like an idiot... the only humans she had know where those that had come to space... and a lot of those it was best to have weapons.
Estaban walked through the door just as Tuesday posed her question.
"They're friendly, until you start haggling, then everyone gets real unfriendly," he joked.
Tempest frowned at him, so he shrugged. "Si, everyone is mostly good on your end," he said looking back and forth between the two women. "Medical supplies are the easier to get, so there shouldn't be much trouble. Earth likes people to have medical supplies. They want people to be healthy. Otherwise tourism goes way down."
Estaban turned to Tempest. "Ready when you are," he said adopting a serious face. He patted his chest pocket. "I got the list and the protection we need from Mojo Green."
Tempest nodded and stood up from her bed. "Then let's go," she said and marched out of the cabin.
Estaban winked at Tuesday. "Good luck, doc," he said and then followed Tuesday out of her cabin.
