    -------------------------------------------

Contradiction is the controlling force of life
Compromised in the face of affliction
It seems like a grain of sand has more self worth
This one grain comes against no conflict because of diversity
Useless problems and obstacles stand before me
Peering into my life, they are here to stay
Why? Because the course has become to difficult

Lying on this grain of sand gives me empowerment
    Superior to this lifeless object
Itís how I should feel at least its how I want to
How is it an insignificant catalyst of nothing makes me feel inferior?
Petrified now as thoughts of insignificance fill my mind

Freely birds soar, wings spread, loving life with minimal purpose
The closest thing to an angel
Though they die falling from the sky and even then they fall with grace
Here I lay now spreading my arms yet I am not free
It is not my purpose in life to fly,
What is my reason, my purpose, my being?

One day freedom shall find me
    Flying will become my purpose
    Diversity shall be no more
    Superiority will become of me
Thatís what I want to hear
My eyes are shut, my mind lucid, I lay here ready to listen
    Speak

wow, well this isn't the usual tone to your writing but it shows your talent none the less. I loved how much I understood this one, it's almost as if you're reading my thoughts with your writes, it doesn't matter how much other ppl accept you or limit you, because you can never really find your purpose or what you could be worth to someone or everyone until you accept yourself and set and/or break your own limits. I really loved the bird connection in this one though, can I tell you something without you thinking right away that I'm crazy or "too much of a dreamer"? ((hehe I'm going to tell u anyway so too bad:P)) but I've been up high (like hiking and stuff but sometimes even just like top of stairs and stuff) and wanted to jump so bad that the one time I had to have someone literally hold me back but I totally don't get why, I try to explain to people that I'm not afraid of heights at all, I love heights but I am afraid I'll do something stupid. anyway amazing write, I'll try to read all your work eventually.
    peace

      This was very well written.
"Lying on this grain of sand gives me empowerment

Itís how I should feel at least its how I want to
How is it an insignificant catalyst of nothing makes me feel inferior?
Petrified now as thoughts of insignificance fill my mind" That was my favourite part. I can definately relate to your poem.
"Freely birds soar, wings spread, loving life with minimal purpose
