    dotsis there an us ?dots

    I'm not trying to,
    rush into something,
    neither one of us
    is ready for.
But I would like to know
    that there is something
    worth working for.
    I know its gonna,
    take some time
    and it won't be easy.
but if it's worth the wait,
    I'll put forth the effort.
    I'm sick and tired,
    of being hurt and lead
to believe that I'm, cared for
    when the truth is,
all I am is sex and companionship.
No one likes to be lied to,
or walked all over like last years
and I'm no different when it comes
    to being cared about.
So let me know right now,
    where we stand,
    and if it's something worth
    trying for.

not too bad. i think this was almost more of a letter or statement than it was a poem. but it's all about expression. i think almost anyone can relate this subject matter. it's truthful and expressive. good effort.

It means a lot to them, as it does to you.
