This is more of a fantasy geography lesson, but so what. Now, if you're really stupid and believe there really is an 8th continent, don't read this!

Make the font bigger!! Double Spacing Back to recent posts.

    dotsThe Land of Doopiadots

Off the cost of Cuba, there's an uncharted island,
or the 8th continent, which consists of three small countries: Doopia, Mgleckinesia and Gilgameshia.

All three of these countries have what a U.S. state would have: Big cities, small towns and a capital.

Now, Doopia has some major cities, such as DoopDoop, New Doopton and the capital, Doopville.

In Mgleckinesia, you have Oohdorkbopton, Ooloogadadaville, and th capital is Boonkyjonkjonk.
Now, the Gilgameshian alphabet is not on the keyboard, so I can't tell you
the names of the cities or capital of Gilgameshia.

Doopia and Mgleckanesia are very much alike, they have the same country fruit (the Muahdtoo berry), and they're language is simliar, except Mgleckanesian sounds a bit more muddled to Americans.

In some ways, Doopia is like the United States, they have a 'Doopian Britney Spears', she's a Doopian singer, her name is Umtigabumdie. And they have a famous guitar player, Wabadagwaywie.

And if you ever went to Mgleckinesia, you would most likely find yourself sitting in the Boonky Cafe in Boonkyjonkjonk, sipping a Muahdtoo-Berry Smoothie listening to the Mgleck. band, FookooNopo playing their latest hit, "Tookoo Muahdtoo."

All three of these countries are a wonderful vacation spot, tourist attraction, or a great place to live.

And as the great Doopian proffessor, Snick Von Goop-Gope once said, "Mah-tooky punk poonk foof foof."

Is this something you made up one night while high on sugar cookie dough with your other girlfriends? Perhaps for some kindergardner book this might work. Actually there were bits of somewhat unique stuff but flanked by same ole same ole or bordering on plagerism. I would really like to see you use your vivid imagination to attempt a shot at something serious, an actuall attempt at something more mainstream or something more recognized as poetry. Everything I have read seems like a blog, or just some way to have chit chat fun with your friends.

    u no who

ah yes doopia, i meant to go there instead, i ended up in a jail in the middle of nowhere. you see, i had a doopian flyer given to me by a one eyed pirate named Ted. Ted known for his stories of cruising the hodgepodge seas with his lovely mohawk shaven parrot claptrap. as i was reading about the local doopian hot spots, he suggested we go fishing off the garlock bridge for purple salamanderfish! i told him there was no such thing as a purple salamanderfish! everyone worth their weight in silver sheckles knows that salamanderfish only come in pink fluorescent polka dots and blue stripes! anyhow we got into a big fight! the local sheriff arrested us. no salamanderfish fishing for me and the flyer was confiscated as evidence. when i got out, i was forced to get a job to pay off the medical bills that Ted accumulated. so i took a sweet deal at the local dive "the boondocks" i saw ole Ted he had claptrap with him. poor bird had multicolored dyed head feathers! well thatís my story and Iím sticking to it.

I think Krazy was right on this... It was fun to read, but you should expend a little more. This piece of work was totally random wasn't it? Anyway, I can see by your work, that you have a lot of creativity. Keep it up. Let your spirit soar, and feel the words. That way, theirs no reason, you don't make great work piece. Keep it up. I liked it. And never forget this, always be true to your art. And you'll become a great writer.

dude! that's so cool! that's a lot of what i end up saying when i'm really really hyper, and so, strangely, it almost, but not quite entirely makes minimal sense to me. very nice, totally random, but without trying to make it into anything other thatn an excuse to write some totally confusing stuff. nice job.

    cheers, Azael

You are an odd one. lol I don't know exactly what to say about it. You should expand! Make it into a story, it might be fun. Hell, I'd read it. This is an odd little piece, not much to it, but it was fun to read...trying to pronounce the names was a kick. My Doopia name is Aguataloo. *Thinks* You should really make a story out of this. I want to read more, because it confuses me...and I don't like to be confused...so I want to read more and become even more confused?

    Damn, I just confused myself...AHH!

    *Runs away*
