Description:

This is for my friends on their wedding day. I am just looking for some feedback. Please tell me what you think. Their wedding is in a few weeks and I have been trying to work out some of the kinks. I know it is sappy, I just want to make sure that it is not crappy! Thanks.

Wedding Poem For My Friends

To my dear friends Michele and Dono
Since you met, for love you search no more
Two hearts put together all full of pride
Together you two when out for a bike ride
You've been together for such a long time
Your're great together like two of a kind
You both have traveled down different paths
You've shared some great times and lots of laughs
A life and love to share with each other
A family blended together, a father, a mother
May you together share many happy days
May you compliment each other in many ways
You've grown together over the years
You've shared good times, bad times, and even a few tears
May your happiness together last a lifetime
And the love you share give you both peace of mind
I pray you enjoy a long and great life
And together forever remain husband and wife

A lovely thought writing a wedding poem for your friends. It was very loving and good. A little bit forced at times I felt, but that does not matter. What matters is that you wrote exactly how you felt - well done.
