good quote there, kinda made me think. you say you sit there with eyes closed and stare, but i want to know if you haev been affected at all by the events that have happened lately, and if not then maybe you should think of a way to help instead of just sitting back and closing your eyes. going on about this makes me think of something i want to post. well either way you look at the quote you posted, its a good quote and it can pertain to many many things, but maybe instead of just closing your eyes, maybe they need to be open and see a way you can try to make a difference

What hits me is your blindness towards the world, which to me is a healthy way to be, particular in this age of distraction. I would argue that nature has been around longer the we have, and how amusing it is that a flood in China or Bangladesh (and there have been many of these recently) which devastates thousands rate so poorly with the Western television obsessed masses. I suppose it has little effect on the price of oil so who cares.

hey Mike, hows everything? long time no talk ok, let's see you have closed eyes but you sit and stare. the "being closed" i see as a perception and the staring at the events in awe, perhaps disbelief. the disasters and somethng else is there almost as if events have more of a shorter frenquency between them in a given span of time. this goes for all events that are happening. look at the books in history youll see a rise in the number of events in a given amount of time. now the two theories behind that are these: one it's biblical the events are the birth pangs explained in the sign of the times. the other theory is that we are so connected now that we are tracking more and more events and that is why it seems that the world is speeding up, if you will. whatever the case it is very scary and interesting times to live in. wouldnt you agree? anyway, keep on writing Mike. take it easy,
