Four decades and a half ago, Still we toddle in shamelessness. How long wil this abnormality Be diagnosed for a remedy? Imperialism with it's memories horrific Gone like a whistle. Yet, the blueprint of its relics In our genes is imbedded like DNA. Maybe we should have made it stay; Cos' sooner than its' supposed obliteration Is oppresive dominance disgorged from her abyss. I wonder what man will pride himself matured Who reaches at gray hair, the age of puberty... Four decades and a half ago, yet, all we could boast of are self-glorified Rulers; who with the speed of light Fly us to our demise of self-destructiveness. Oh, how these realities anoints With grief my thoughts, And my anger resurrects. Still, the day of reckoning in no way slumbers... |

Going on; I loved this poem, wonderful, glorious, it made my blood pump a bit faster and my brain think about times past.
