    Description:
I'm obsessed with color, film, and painting lately. Sorry if it gets tedious.

It's April, but the grayness makes it feel like January
    even though it's 80 degrees,
    and the slow sleepiness
    makes Friday seem like Sunday,
    but tonight I hope
to turn the gray into technicolor,
    so take me out
    and dance with me
    under blue lights
    drunk on purple wine,
and hold me in your brown arms,
and let joy explode in my mind
    and color every thought,
    every emotion
    with a veneer of spectrums.

      4 seasons in one day...
And someone to share them with over a pint of their rum.
Frome fishbelly grey to purple sun.
    Result.

i really love poetry on colour... and this one is pretty! (like a painting) but it's my ameteur opinion that it could have ended more brilliantly,
    "With a veneer of spectrums
    And joy"
i go soaring on "a veneer of spectrums" but fall a little flat on "and joy".

    feels like january
    although it's summer warm
    and the slow sleepiness
makes a friday seem like sunday

you have a wonderful way with words, i enjoyed the transition from depressed surroundings to an explosion of smiles and euphria, the descriptions you use are very simple but are more than enough to paint a very vivid picture, ted turner would be proud

this is perhaps my favorite of everything you've done that i have read lol. if that made any sense at all. but it paints a picture very well. the idea is awesome to boot.

Why do poets always discover that happiness is just a thin sheet we pull over ourselves to keep in some warmth against the night's cold? Drink deeply on the joys of life, lest you become sober enough to behold the reality... Should line 8 have read "To turn the gray into technicolour"? Enjoyed this.

I like the lazy-hazy way this unfolds--like a daydream.April is such a fickle wishy washy month in a way. I think we forget as we dream in winter for Spring.--that April is only lightly salted with color and warmth, --there are many cold, insipid drab days. You must add your own color--and that you did, tenderly, with passion.A real Beauty this--- Silver
