dotsBe accepted for who you aredots
    -------------------------------------------

    Being in love and in
    denial all because of
    what peple say

...be accepted for who you are

    A beautiful lady and
    people only want you
    for that

... be accepted for who you are

    You stand alone all
    by yourself because
    people downgrade
    you

... be accepted for who you are

    The kindness you show
to all people even when you
feel that you have lost it all and
    are being taken advantage of

... be accepted for who you are

    Always remeber you are
    special no matter who
    or what you are

    Be accepted for who you
    are because you believe
    in yourself

    Be accpeted for yourself not
    because someone told you to

Let others accept you for who you
    are not what you are

    and always remember

... BE ACCEPTED FOR WHO YOU ARE

This poem is so very true! Wow! Such powerfull words and message in this writing!
I really enjoyed it and it made me think, about how I always tryed to fit in,
And felt I couldn't be myself. Now I am learning to be myself and if people can accept me for who I am then they are not worth the trouble.

Thankyou for sharing this beautiful poem.

I agree with the idea of this poem. We should not let anyone kill our self-esteem. Be the best we can be and be proud of who we are.

I liked the content of this poem, what you're trying to say is a really good idea. For the most part i really liked the poem, but i also think that it could have flowed better. good luck!

The flow was a little notched probably because the format didnt really help the piece was the message was strong and true, people should be able to relate to at least on instance in this piece and should follow it's message. Good job on that. Revise it a little and it could become a more powerful piece.

    Peace,
    Jermaine.

IT FELT ALMOST LIKE A SONG BUT IT WAS GOOD I ALWAYS SAY TO KNOW SOMEONE IS TO LOOK INTO THEIR HEART WHY?
BECAUSE IT IS THE MOST PURE PART OF A PERSON.

yeah it coulda flowed better, but the message shines through like a beacon that guides those searching for their identity back to themselves. i hate it when people pretend to be something else just to fit in or feel special. if a ''friend" doesn't like u for who u are, then they're not a friend.

this has a good meaning but it could flow better. I don't know it was kinda hard to read in my opinion. It was still good though. SOmething everyone should read and practice. Good write.

I agree with disturbex1000. People do judge by what they see. I do think it could have flowed better. Maybe different words? I'm not sure. I have a similar poem: Precious Mask, read it when you can, and tell me what u think of it.

this poem is true in the fact that it shows the stereo typing of people and that thats how most people judge others is by what the see, and not what they know. very good write keep it up.
