There are times when tears Fall like the waterfalls And when the heart cracks And crumbles into the ground There are times when roses Grow through the darkest of nights And the coldest of weather Only to prick your soul There are times when the sun hides Behind the darkest of clouds And the fog blankets the air Filled with the mystery of what’s around the bend So often are we hidden Blanketed by our fears Only to find That the fear you feared the most is always lingering overhead Don’t mask the roses Because the thorns can prick Fear is only temporary And the noise will soon be gone Through in silence we hear Even when nothing is around Because the heart will forever beat Through the crashing waterfalls
