    dotsThen, Now, and Soondots

Life changes in so many ways.
    I can't believe, how fast
    the years have gone by.
    It seems like only yesterday,
I was coming home from kindergarden,
    drawing pictures of stick figures,
    and writing my first poem.
And now I'm nineteen, and a mother of two.
    Some part of me,
still feels like a little girl.
The other part, feels so old.
    But reality has struck,
and I am somewhere in the middle.
There's not much about life, I've enjoyed.
    Although I'm not complaining,
I may not have gotten a child hood,
and some say I'm having one now.
To old to have a child hood.
    But too young to die.
    Having not yet reached,
    the full capacity of life.
    People tell me,
I have so; much to learn,
    and so much too see.
    But what they don't know,
is of what I have seen.
And the things that have been my life.
I have seen more than most my age,
And even that of those older than I.
As the sky darkens, at night,
    I look up and wonder,
    what my future hold,
I want h happieness and joy.
Having said that, all I can do
    is sit back and wait,
to see what tommorrow will bring.

this was good. some people grow up much faster than others becuz of the hardships they have to face at an early age. its cool that u stated this and then said that u have no time for a childhood now since u already lost it. "not willing to live, but not ready to die" good write
