    If Death is Fate's mistress
    She serves him quite well
    And yet they must not love
    For she ends all he tells

    Life and it's brevity are lost in cruel chaos
    And Fate's cruel bride is the only reason
    We dance and sing with joy in the spring
    Only to fall to winter's appalling lesions

    Death's cold grip embraces you,
    Never to let go
    So that Fate's true masterpiece
    Is never to show

    So though you have moved on
    Fate's tears still remain
    For he of all people
    Sees you have no great stain

    You stand in Glory's presence
    As Death is severely chastized
    For slaughtering innocence;
    Ending for what glory strived
