Dragon Quill

A sleek scale fallen from,Then
A shape known to me from,There

It's form is light in my hand
It's burden weighs heavy on my heart

A gift from the gods?
A curse from the ghouls?

It's life blood, supressed feelings
It's ink, passionate flames

A rare beauty in it's own strenght
Forming glass castles in firey strokes

It's my most treasured friend
It's my most terrifying feind

A pen bringing out my best jewels
A pen revealing my very worst jealousies

I think I'll keep it
I think I'll toss it

'Duality of man'.lol. I like the parallel of opposites, it is unique. RyukiTZR is right, the first stanza is off, its like you started writing in one form, and then switched your style.

this was very well written. I liked it alot! I like how you balanced the goods and bads instead of focusing on one aspect of it. nice write:)

this is tight. it's like the quill has its own powers. and u can't decide wether or not to toss it because it brings out the good in you. but it frightens you because of the evil it can release as well. this was like a balance of good and evil and the quill would make the balance go back and forth like a see-saw.

This is cool... just kinda dun understand the first stanza. But, its great as it gives an impression of a passion for the pen and the writings it had gone through. Good write. (I'm not a good commenter today so yea.)
