    dotsEconomics Testdots

Stony silence from the dark void
    A glimpse of the year
    But no answer forthcoming
A child hides in cold and the dark
    The decisions before her daunting
Till two am the night before
    A dog named Simon prowls
Watching the strugglers from the herd
What he knows he won't tell
Scarce the energy to lift the pen
    Her own weakness disgusts her
'Fuck off' I say to prying eyes
I do not want my weakness laid bare
    But it doesn't matter
    Because everyone can see me
Limping in the tall grass of my dreams
    The soft pale underbelly
Vulnerable to the slash of teeth
    From the dark child within
    trying to escape the void
But how can I let that darkness into the world?
