slipping away dots

those times we shared were so bittersweet
since day one you've knocked me off my feet
since you've been gone, i keep slipping away but the life of my love for you always will stay

i miss you so as i say in my poems
forever and always on all of my tomes
the truth is only so far from a lie
shying away are you and I

You lust for love as i miss it the same
never again shall you speak my name
Expelled from the church of life and love
that i'm clergy of, sent from above

I dream of you each and every night
in my deepest fantasies you are shining bright
together for all time it seems, in a single hopeless dream.

  Wow mike way to be wicked expressive you did a magnificent job - the passion you feel and the great love amazing job - ashley is one lucky girl! This is truely a great peice it shows the pain and hurt for letting her slip away and yet you still have this deep love for her - great job

  of course i love it mike.. n it hurts to hear how sad you are n basicaly its my fault if i could i would erase all ur pain n make everything better but u n i both no that life jus doesnt work like that.. life is a cruel son of a [censored].

  Hmm...well I really liked this...I don't know if I quite got out of it what you meant for the reader to get out of it...but...you love this girl..and yet she's slipping away? I feel that with my boyfriend sometimes..we live in different states...I'm so in love..but sometimes...distance just...makes it seem like we're worlds apart. I don't know if you feel like your kidding yourself in this poem...but if you love her..keep after her..don't give up...don't let anything slip away. Take care. ~hailie~
