    dotsNew World Orderdots

It is time to take a stand
And create a New World Order.
    If you come help me
I will give you a quarter.

    We are reconstructing humans,
    From pieces left behind.
    I am reconstructing humans
From an all too human mind.

    This is no obligation
    Or mission you must heed.
    For in our creation
    It is our common need.

    As you contemplate desire
    I will find a quarter.
Thank you for joining in the
Creation of a New World Order.

I liked this because "IT" can be seen differently. At first read I felt that the .25 was a sarcastic metaphor for religion - that you must pay - and at second read I found myself thinking that "IT" doesn't cost anything & the quarter represents that, in a way, too.
Our world needs love and positive energy & we all share that here creating that very thing and reflecting "IT".

ok, the only picture i have in my head right now is of a 25 cent hooker...

hey, time to repopulate the world, i'll give you a quarter if you drop your pants...

i'm at a loss as to how this poem relates to the Crusades.

poetically it was pretty well written.

lol, but other than that i'm kinda lost

It is really excellent poem with good rhyme; there is a wonderful hyperbole in "We are reconstructing humans". In your description you wrote "Think the second Crusades" which was on of the most failure Crusades, so I understand nothing about the symbol in your poem but I am sure that it will be wonderful.

This is a nice little poem. I wonder what the motivation was behind this piece? Perhaps the dismal existance of our world now? I am not really sure how to interpret this poem but I can say that our world needs some serious fixing. The way things are going, at least here in the United States, it is disheartening. All the war and our soldiers dying everyday, will it ever end? And the sad part is, even if this damn war ends, there will be another and another, there always is. Anyway, if you got peace on your mind and a kinder society to create, I am with ya! And I'll give you the quarter! haha! Very nice poem. Take care.

Lol its kind of random. I used to write very random things but it looks like it could have a really strong impacting meaning if someone was to go and decipher it themself. Remember someone told me always write with a meaning, and if no meaning comes make one.
