    -------------------------------------------

    The night falls silently
    Upon this place we lie
How lovely is his golden face
    Beneath the milky sky

When dark times befell my life
He reached out to rescue me
He lit ablaze my soul once more
Through his eyes, again I see

To his brow fall amber locks
    The colour or autumn leaves
He tells of a place absolved of pain
His lulling voice makes me believe

This angel lying next to me
    The epitome of truth
    Emits a passion ages old
    With the innocence of youth

A gentle breeze ruffles our hair
    The caressing touch of wind
I murmur softly in his ear
    "You've made me love again."

This poem makes me think of my life and how my one special person touched me so dearly and close to home. Your angel, he sounds like mine. True and touching, worth more than life itself, and beautiful to the core. Everyone has an angel, but not everyone can find theirs, I'll say by this poem you have found yours if this is based on a real life experience. Thanks.

    Sincerely,

This is really, very beautifully written. I love that you took a subject that is talked and written about quite frequently but you made it sound so new and refreshing.

If this is based on your real life I want to say congratulations. If it is not I still want to say congratulations for making something so real sound so amazing. I know what it is like to finally find someone that makes your heart beat again. It is amazing.

Thank you for sharing this with us. It was very good.

      This is beautifully written
I find a sense of calmness and relaxation reading it
At the first couple of lines I thought you were talking about the Lord and then you showed us your readers how much you care about your soulmate by letting us know its him you are talking about
    I really liked this
    Great Write

This is a very good poem. Your words are nicely written and expressed and the descriptions here are wonderful. The flow and rhyme here are well done, not seemingly forced, and tells a lovely story. This angel sounds to be priceless and you have done a great job expressing your love and appreciation for this person. Very touching poem. Take care.
